How much does it cost - upfront?

Initial costs (included in our quote) typically are:

Build the eCommerce WEB site
Register the domain
Hosting costs
SSL Certificate (You have different options and this cost is not included in our price)
Searhc Engine Optimization (e.g. Google) for certain number of keywords you want to be find by using serach ebngines (optional)

How much does it cost - second year forward?

Ongoing cost consists of:

Hosting costs (yearly)
Renewal SSL (yearly, every two years, etc)
Software support and enhancements
You maintain the list of products in the WEB store

How long does it take to have an eCommence WEB site?

4 to 8 weeks, depending on the amount of custom work

What is my role - Before and during implementation?

It is up to you how much input you want to have in the overall ecommerce implementation.

Provide your requirements:
- your preference (if you have any) in terms of the WEB site layout, fonts, pictures.
- any other requirements specific to your business
Provide the content:
- for the web site pages (about your company, your polices for return and shipping, your address, etc.)
- a list of your products by category
- product details and specification
Verify the site is functioning as you wanted before launch. This is called User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Approve website launch

What is my role - after implementation?

Maintain the list of products active

Run desired reports

Report any issues to CERAiT support

How do I collect payments?

Payments may be processed using a paypal account OR charging the credit card directly through your bank.

Is it safe for payments?

YES. We DO NOT store the credit card number. This is standard in modern eCommerce. Credit card information is transferred via secure and encrypted link to your Credit Card processing facility (e.g. Moneris). The credit card processing company will then process the card the same way as data coming from your POS credit card reader.

Is it safe for my content and data?

YES. All of our servers are hosted in a secure and monitored data center with 24 hours surveillance and live security guard. Only authorized personnel have access to the data center.

How do I ship sold products?

Products sold online may be shipped using USPS, FEDEX, UPS or any other courier service.

How do I calculate shipping cost?

For each product you want to sell online you will specify weight and dimension.

Shipping cost calculator can be set to calculate cost based on weight, per package.

For more accurate shipping cost calculation, an optional interface can be built with the shipping company to obtain the accurate.

What is the average increase in sales?

It depends on your particular business and on how much you will market your website.

What is the ROI for eCommerce website projects?

The Return on Investment period for eCommerce sites is quite short. Depending on the type of products you offer it can be as low as 1-2 years. This means that the eCommerce website will pay for itself within 1-2 years and sometimes even within a year if you have product that may be in demand. A good website marketing campaign is also very important part in shortening this period.
